Girl Power Camp

A week ago, i went for a 2 dayz 1 nite camp in Sunway College. Its called "Girls Power Camp" at Sunway University College from the 26th to the 27th of may 2007.
I had lots of fun there n got to noe lot of new frens.

i reached sunway college at bout 8 10am wit sha ting n woan jen. we gave our file n then had our breakfast. Our breakfast consisted of only a sausage bun n a soya drink.

Then at 9am, the girls were gathered in the Multi-purpose Hall to be separated into our groups. I was placed in group 17. The group tat rock the camp! ^^ The very 1st program was to get to noe our group member n other gals. There were 205 participants, including me. I really took the time to rmb everybody's name.

After tat, A talk by Dr Peggy Wong was given and the topic was, "Wat is Real Success in Life?". It was freakin boring. As if we donno wat our success in life is. We noe it but we din do it only ma. =p It continued wit a talk entitle "All Things Hair" by Mr Raymund Chew from the profound hairstyling studio, "A Cut Above". It was kinda interesting. He gave us tips about hair informed us about the lastest hairtrends. I was devastated coz none of us from group 17 got the RM 15 voucher from "A Cut Above". isn't it unfair???

I changed into my sports wear n went for lunch. After tat, we continued wit another talk entitled "Summer Refresher Workshop" by Clinique. Alex Tam was the speaker, he is kinda gay. hehe. He talked about make up n skincare. He takes care of his face more den i do coz i'm a lazy girl. During the talk, i got to noe susanna n we started our own talk. We have so much thing to talk about n we hav sth similar ^^ Our secret!

Finally, the talk finished n we could start to have some fun! Its time for the "Girls Power Extreme Games". We played 5 diff games.

1st, we started with some disgusting game tat we hav to stick our leg into a packet of oil which contains 2 dead sotong inside.
2nd, we had to tear a piece of paper as long as we could and den make a circle. 2 members had to hold the tennis ball with their cheeks n climb over a table.
3rd, we moved on to a crawlin game like those soldiers.
4th, this time was an apple eating game. The main objective was to eat 3 apples as fast as u can.
5th, lastly we had to use newspaper to wrap on the 2 "statues". susan n i were the statues

su and i had made a request to our teammates. It was tat both of us would be the 1st ones who got to shower 1st, and they agreed ^^ we went back and guess wat?

We showered together in the same cubicle. It sounds les n crazy rite? and don forget i juz got to know her for about 5 hours only. we changed into our dinner dress n waited for our dinner. Sha ting was 1 of the lucky winner to get the "Make-over Session with Clinique". While waiting, we started to ss again!

After the dinner we had the "2 minutes Fame-Teen Idol Search". It was a talent competition. It was not some cheap competition, they invited 4 judges to judge the competition. However, i didn't join it. Some of the performance were kinda boring so we went to toilet n something happened.....

After the Teen Idol Search, we had a special performance by the cute guy ALIF. He sang 2 songs and took pictures wit us. The last program that we had for the day was the "Disco Diva Boogie Nite". Everybody got in the mood n started dancin! We danced and danced and dance like nobody business!

1st day of the camp has ended and the birth of a new day has come. We started our day wit Morning Aerobics. It was brought up by the Living Arts Studio-Dance Studio. After tat we washed up n took our breakfast. The very 1st program of the day was "Bring out the FASHIONISTA in You". I did learn a bit of fashion n the latest fashion.

So we moved on wit "Just'Aikido' It!" by an aikido master. Aikido is a form of martial art tat manipulates body movements. I think when something bad really happens to us, we won't be following the moves tat they taught us. All we'll do is SHOUT n RUN!

We had our lunch n continued our program that is "Being streetwise" - Personal safety and precautions. We had it in an an auditorium. It was kinda boring too.

We continued wit a talk called "Branding Yourself!" and i drew something...

The last talk we had for the camp is" Girls... The New Boys In Town". It's a panel of 3 guys vs 3 girls in an interactive talk show. sha ting, tiya n jen went to toilet n came back wit junk food. didn't they see the sighboard that said "no food allowed"?

At 4pm, we went to pack out our stuff n went for the "closing ceremony". su n chris cried bcoz they em se tak us n the camp. but too bad we are too old to come back next year. so we really had to say bye bye to GPC. girls tat who are still able to go for the camp, better join the camp next year! GPC will really rock ur ass off! Lastly i wan all the photos i took in camp. All my group members plz send me those photos to me. i still haven't get all the photos yet... =(
